konkurs-rogov-enFriends, we're holding a spring photo contest in social networks together with STS. Come join us!

1. Before 30 April, buy a product from www.faberlic.com and take a photo with it: a beautiful composition or a portrait.  Most importantly, your photo should have a springtime mood – tender and romantic!

2. Post your photo on your social network page: VK or Instagram. Don't forget to add the hashtag #FABERLICУСПЕТЬЗА24, so that we can find your contest entry.

3. After 30 April, the contest jury will choose 11 of the best photos as winners. 10 of them will receive a set of Faberlic clothing, and the first place winner will receive a personal master class from Alexandr Rogov: a 50,000 rouble shopping spree with the star stylist and fashion expert!

If you are not registered with Faberlic, then register here to participate in the contest: https://goo.gl/pgBeW5

Need tips on how to create a masterpiece with a mobile phone or digital camera? This advice from our photographer @evgeniakanak will help you out!

LIGHTING

Use natural light from a window or shoot outdoors. The light should be soft: if the sun is particularly bright, it's better to use light-coloured curtains or a piece of parchment paper to soften the rays.

COMPOSITION

1. Don't try to show everything you bought at once. Choose some things that look great together.
2. To create a composition, STAND or LAY products on a surface.
3. Try to focus on 1-3 products for an effective photo.

COLOUR

The best contrast combinations: blue and orange, purple and yellow, green and red. It's also good to put products together that are close in colour but with different tones or saturations, for example, red and pink, or green and light blue. Black, white, and dark shades help highlight the details and contours of your composition. Use them as a background or to add accents.

PROPS

Berries, flowers, jewellery, beautiful dishes, the interior of a room – anything can be a complementary element in a photo. Don't try to make the entire background out of props. Sometimes just one detail is enough for your picture to work.

We wish you success and good luck in the contest!
