How do I apply fragrance correctly?
The scent is best released where the blood pulses:
Hair holds the scent well, so you can spray it on your neck and the back of your head.
If you want a beautiful scent trail behind you, you can spray the fragrance under your knees and on the inside of your dress.
Finally, we recommend spraying the fragrance upward and stepping into the cloud.
How do I choose a fragrance?
Rule 1. Don't try too many fragrances at once. Try three or four at a time, so you don't get confused and can remember the scent.
Rule 2. Don't spray the fragrance directly from the bottle into the cap. Avoid smelling the fragrance directly from the bottle or sample. Apply it to a blotter or a clean tissue. Once you've chosen a fragrance you like, be sure to test it on your skin to see how it feels on your skin. The same fragrance can smell completely different on you and your friend.
Rule 3. Don't buy a fragrance based on first impressions. Wear it for a while, wait for the heart notes (after 15-30 minutes), which will linger throughout the day after the most volatile top notes fade, and only then make your choice.
Rule 4. Consider weather, climate, and situational factors. Remember that fragrances diffuse more intensely in warm, humid air than in cool, dry air. Lighter fragrances are versatile, while bright, rich compositions won't always be appropriate in the office or on the beach. However, they're more likely to attract attention on a romantic date.
Rule 5. Make choosing a fragrance a pleasure. A good mood is your best guide.
