LIGHT

Use natural light from the window or take pictures outside. The light should be soft: if the sun is too bright better use light curtains or a parchment paper as a filter.

COMPOSITION

1. Do not try to show all the products you purchased. Choose those that look good together.
2. To create the composition PUT the products on a surface as shown on the picture.
3. Think about how the products would look in a black-and-white mode – are the contrasting or seem to become a grey spot. Use contrasts to create a brighter composition. Create the contrast with light and shadow.
4. Try to make an accent on 1-3 products, your picture will look better.

COLOUR

Contrasting combinations are the best: blue – orange, violet – yellow, green – red. Good idea is to combine items of similar colour but different shades and saturation, ex. red and pink, green and blue. Black, white and dark colours help emphasize details and contours of your composition. Use them as a background or accents.

ACCESSORIES

Berries, flowers, jewelry, nice dishes, room interior – everything can be used as additional elements to your photo. Do not try to fill in the background with accessories. Sometimes even one detail is enough to make your picture sparkle.
