Will Sengara products stay in the Faberlic product range, will they change? What new products will appear? We asked Irina Goldysh, Director of the Faberlic Cosmetics and Perfumery Department, answer these and other questions.
Does Faberlic plan to offer Sengara products in the future?
Of course, we keep working on this brand together with Sengara specialists. Temporary suspension of production and stock sales are caused by our plans to renew this collection. According to marketing researches, customers opt for the Faberlic brand as more renown, so the most popular products will be issued in Expert, Expert Pharma and «Faberlic Home».
Natalia Yakubovich, Faberlic Chief Technologist, and Sergey Panyushin, pharmacologist, technologist and developer of Sengara products, are currently working on updating Sengara collection in collaboration with the RSA Institute of Molecular Genetics.
When will we see our favourite products back?
New version of peptide cosmetics (three-step skin care system) will be issued in the Faberlic Expert collection in October 2017.
The March catalogue № 3 presents the Spray for Surfaces with monarda oil (art. 1126) from the «Faberlic Home» collection.

How do the formulas change?
They will be more efficient. Life doesn’t stay still: technologies are upgraded, new researches held, new combinations of ingredients created. For instance, we will add amino acids to peptides in the new face care collection – it will boost their effectiveness.
What about bacteriophages? Will they still be included in the formula?
We have thoroughly studied efficiency of bacteriophages in cosmetics products and came to conclusion that it is impossible to guarantee the required effect from their use. Currently there are no scientifically proved methods to keep bacteriophages viable over the long term, except for a small range of low temperatures (2-8 degrees). It creates almost invincible difficulties for transporting and storing cosmetic products.
This is the reason why new Faberlic products instead of bacteriophages will contain a complex of new-generation prebiotics designed for skin care – Biolin. It includes inulin and alpha-glucan oligosaccharide that have proved their efficiency in cosmetic products. Prebiotics create a breeding ground for “good’ microorganisms, enhance their growth and metabolic activity while reducing the amount of hostile “occupants” of your skin. As a result, microbe balance is regulated and skin immune system activated in a natural way.
Regular use of prebiotic products prevents itching, reddening, dandruff, damaging of skin functions, bad smell. Biolin complex restores and strengthens the natural barrier of your skin and returns its healthy look. Formulas with Biolin prebiotics do not require special storage conditions and keep their efficiency for the whole Best Before period.
I would like to note that all botanical extracts and essential oils, valued in the Sengara products, will be present in the new products to the full extent.
